At Government Polytechnic College, Batala, under the leadership of Principal Rajdeep Singh Ball and the supervision of NSS Program Officer Tej Pratap Singh Kahlon, an awareness seminar regarding traffic rules was conducted under the ongoing Traffic Safety Month.
Inspector Ram Davinder Singh in charge of Traffic Police Batala arrived as the chief guest in this seminar. Addressing the large number of students present on this occasion, he said that if we follow the traffic rules properly, we can all become good citizens of the country. Chief Munshi Manjinder Singh, Chief Spokesperson of Awakar Traffic Police Batala addressed during the seminar and said that compliance with traffic rules is very important to avoid road accidents. He said that sometimes big accidents happen due to the negligence of the little ones , so the speed of the vehicle should be fixed while driving on the road and the signals should be followed. He informed and said that children below 18 years should not be allowed to drive the vehicle.
He said that the life blessed by God should not be lost due to any mistake. Principal of the college Rajdeep Singh Ball honored these guests and encouraged the students to follow the information given. On this occasion, Shivrajanpuri, in-charge of Applied Science Department , Jasbir Singh, Chairman of the Seminar Committee , Tej Pratap Singh Kahlon, Program Officer , also motivated the students to follow the traffic rules through their address. On this occasion, besides others, Superintendent Harpal Singh Bhammari , Jagdeep Singh , ASI Ranjit Singh, Sukhwinder Singh , Kamal Kumar , Hand Constable Kuldeep Singh , Sukhdev Singh etc. from Traffic Police were also present.
