29 female and 40 male forest guards completed induction course.
Hoshiarpur, 09 February (Punjab khabarnama) : The completion ceremony of the induction course of 54th (29 female forest guards) and 55th (40 male forest guards) was organized at Training Division Basi Jana, Hoshiarpur. During this, the results of the examination were announced by Additional Chief Secretary Forest Department Vikas Garg in the presence of other officials. In this course, forest guard learners were given written and practical information by experts on forest and wild life protection, forestry, engineering and various other subjects that are useful during duty. Along with this, they were also given training to remain physically fit and disciplined. In which they were made to do PT drill every morning and games in the evening.
During the training course, the learners were taken on tours to different places in Punjab and outside Punjab, which included Hoshiarpur, Dholwaha, Mahingrowal, Talwara, SFRI Ladowal Ludhiana, Chhatbir Zoo etc. and F.R. Tours were also conducted in Dehradun, Rajaji National Park, Dehradun, Haridwar and Gagret Katha Factory etc. On the last day of the course, written examination of the students was taken and sports competitions were conducted.
On this occasion Principal Chief Forest Conservator (Half) RK Mishra, Chief Conservator of Forest (Plainj) N.S. Randhawa, Chief Conservator of Forest Basanta Rajkumar, Conservator Sanjeev Bansal, Forest Guard Search and Training Circle SFRI Ladowal Satnam Singh, SSP Surendra Lamba, Divisional Forest Officer Rajesh Kumar, Divisional Forest Officer Nalin Yadav, Group staff including Forest Ranger Course Incharge Ladowal Ludhiana Jaswinder Singh, Range Officer Amarinder Singh, Forest Range Officer Course Incharge Hoshiarpur Gurdeep Singh were present.
