The series of meetings continued for the disposal of maximum cases in the national Lok Adalat
Fatehgarh Sahib 08 February (Punjab khabarnama) : National Lok Adalat is being organized by the District Legal Services Authority under the directives of the National Legal Services Authority and the Punjab State Legal Services Authority on February 8, in which all types of arbitrable disputes will be settled with the consent of both the parties. This information was given by District Legal Services Authority Chairman-cum-District and Sessions Judge Mr. Arun Gupta. He said that National Lok Adalat will be organized in Fatehgarh Sahib and sub-division level group courts.
Mr. Arun Gupta said that in order to make the National Lok Adalat more successful, district level judicial officers , bank officers , insurance officers , water supply , PSPCL , and BSNL. Meetings have been held with the officials so that maximum number of cases can be settled through Lok Adalat to benefit the general public.
Mr. Arun Gupta appealed to the people of the district and said that they should bring the cases pending in their different courts to the National Lok Adalat and make the most of it. He said that Lok Adalats have many benefits and in case of settlement, the court fee is also returned and the decision of the Lok Adalat is also final.
