Assistant Commissioner (J) Vyom Bhardwaj said that the families of the freedom fighters who contributed to the country’s freedom will not be allowed any problem by the district administration. He said that they will be treated with due respect in government offices and no family member will be allowed to face any hardship. He was listening to the problems of the families of freedom fighters during the meeting held at the district administrative complex today. Meanwhile, where he reviewed the decisions taken in the previous meeting, he directed the concerned officials to solve the problems of the family members of the freedom fighters on priority basis.
The Assistant Commissioner said that the families of freedom fighters are equal to the district administration and no family member will be allowed to face any problem. He said that if any problem comes up, it should be immediately brought to the attention of the administration. He instructed the heads of the departments that the family members of the freedom fighters should be given full respect in the offices and it should be ensured that the problems are solved on a priority basis. Meanwhile, the families of the freedom fighters also submitted a demand letter in the name of Chief Minister Punjab to the Assistant Commissioner. On this occasion, Pradhan Avtar Singh, Purshotam Singh, Multal Singh, Diljit Singh, Sarabjit Singh, Ramesh Chand, Gurdeep Singh, Tarsem Kaur, Harbhajan Kaur, Gagandeep Singh, Hardeep Singh, Daljit Singh, Bipan Kumar, Parminder Singh Cheema were among the families of the freedom fighters. , Kwant Kulwant Singh, Narinder Singh were also present.
