(Punjab khabarnama) : As part of the campaign of district administration Fazilka to send homeless cows from Fazilka city to Gowshala, 66 homeless cows have been sent to government Gowshala Salemshah during the last 2 days of February. This information has been given by the Deputy Commissioner of the district Dr. Senu Duggal IAS.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal said that this initiative has been started by the administration to keep the city clean and to ensure the proper care of the helpless cows. He said that Fazilka Ferozepur Road near Pir Baba Samadh, Government ITI, Dana Mandi Gate and Sabji Mandi near Malot Road and Basti Hajur Singh on Dad Road, 66 homeless cows were sent to the government cowshed on Tuesday and Wednesday. .
He said that by catching these helpless cows wandering on the roads and sending them to the government cow shed, where these cows will get shelter, the road accidents caused by the cattle roaming on these roads will also be stopped. He said that vaccination has also been done to protect the caught helpless cows from oral cavity disease on the spot. He appealed to the residents of the district not to leave their domestic cattle helpless and to cooperate with the administration in this campaign.
