Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, giving information about the camps organized under ‘Aap Di Sarkar Aap De Duar’ in Hoshiarpur, said that today a total of 29 camps were organized in all the sub divisions of the district. He said that till the second day, people applied for 1961 services through these camps and 1281 services were provided on the spot. Similarly, 162 complaints have been received so far out of which 149 have been resolved. He said that the pending services and complaints will also be settled in due time.
The Deputy Commissioner said that today 5 camps were set up in Garhshankar, 4 in Tanda, 9 in Hoshiarpur, 7 in Dasuha and 4 in Mukerian. He said that the villages of Rawan, Ralhan, Pawan and Jhingar Khurd in sub-mandal Tanda, Rasulpur, Nandan, Arnyala Shahpur, Atwarpur in sub-mandal Hoshiarpur, Ward No. 35 Hoshiarpur, Ward No. 38 Hoshiarpur, Ward No. 2 Shamchurasi, New Jatpur and Bassi Jora. , Camps were set up in Selakhurd, Sela Kalan, Pansaran, Paddi, Khuti, Jassowal in Garhshankar Sub-Division, Kurala, Jandor, Takhar in Dasuha Sub-Division, Ward No. 3 Dasuha, Chipdaran, Ward No. 3 Garhdiwala, Hardopatti.
Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann is organizing camps in different villages and wards of the district to solve the problems of the common people at their door steps. This process will continue for a month. He said that the aim of these camps is to provide benefits of various public welfare schemes to the common people near their homes and under one roof, listen to the problems of the people and solve them on the spot. He said that the officials of all the departments have been instructed to ensure disposal of eligible applications received during these special camps on priority basis. He said that these camps will be monitored daily in the evening, which includes how many applications were received, what kind of complaints were there and what was done to resolve them etc.
The Deputy Commissioner said that during these camps, different 43 types of government services
provided, including birth certificate, income certificate, stipend to children of beneficiaries, residence certificate, scheduled and backward class certificates, old age, disability and dependent pension, beneficiaries related to construction workers, change of name in birth certificate, electricity bills payment, verification of revenue department records, registration of marriage, multiple copies of death certificate, attested copies of documents, certificates related to rural area, creation of fard, general caste certificate, omen scheme, land marking, n. Counter application levels of RI certificate, counter signature of police clearance certificate, change in death certificate etc. are included.
