Certificates given on the occasion to the beneficiaries of various services
Batala, February 6 (Punjab khabarnama): MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Agarwal specially arrived and interacted with the people to get information about the various services being provided by the various departments. On this occasion Dr. Shayari Bhandari, SDM-Com.Commissioner Municipal Corporation Batala, Mrs. Jaswant Kaur SP (H) and officials of various departments were present. On this occasion, MLA Sherry Kalsi and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Agarwal also distributed certificates on the occasion to the beneficiaries who took advantage of various services.
Speaking on this occasion, MLA Sherry Kalsi said that S. Bhagwant Singh Maan, the Chief Minister of Punjab, has taken this great effort to solve the problems of the people by going to them and the officials of various departments are listening and solving the problems of the people. He said that people from remote areas had to visit different government offices to get their work done, but now the officials of different departments are availing the benefits of government services by reaching out to people. He appealed to the people to come to these special camps and get the maximum benefit of the government services.
Speaking on this occasion Dr. Himanshu Agarwal, Deputy Commissioner Gurdaspur said that special camps are being organized in different villages/wards of the district and four special camps are being organized in each sub-division of the district under the campaign ‘Punjab Government at Your Door’. He said that the main purpose of these special camps is that people get the benefit of various government services near their homes. He said that in these special camps, services related to revenue department, health department, corporation related, panchayat department, MGNREGA, social security department, education department and agriculture etc. are being availed. He said that in these special camps, the officials of the respective departments receive the application form from the applicants on the spot and take appropriate action. He appealed to the residents of the district to participate in the special camps organized under the campaign ‘Punjab Sarkar, Apahe Duar’ and avail maximum government facilities.
On this occasion, deposit certificates, backward class certificate, labor card, birth certificate, death certificate and Ayushman health insurance card were made on the spot to the beneficiaries in the special camp.
Beneficiaries Rajbir Singh, Resham Singh, Narinder Kumar, Prabhadeep Singh, Kanwalpreet Singh, Inderpreet Kaur, Manjit Kaur, Nurpreet Kaur, Mohanlal and Mahender Singh thanked the Punjab government and said that their camp today The work has been done on the spot and they did not have to go round the offices. He said that it is a great effort of the Punjab government to listen to the problems of the people and solve them on the spot by the officials of different departments. Special thanks to Una Batala MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi and District Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal said that the district administration is listening to the problems of the people and solving them, due to which the people have got a big relief.
