Rupnagar, February 3 (Punjab khabarnama): Chief Minister Punjab. Under the campaign “Aap Di Sarkar Aap De Duar” launched by the state government under the able leadership of Bhagwant Singh Maan to solve the problems of the common people by approaching their rates, in different villages across the district from February 6 to March 10. Special camps will be organized till Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav held a meeting with various officials regarding advance arrangements at the meeting hall of the district administrative complex.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav said that the purpose of these camps is to provide benefits of public welfare schemes to the common people near their homes, listen to people’s problems and solve them on the spot. He instructed the officials of all the departments that they will ensure to solve the eligible applications on priority basis during these special camps to be organized.
The Deputy Commissioner said that in Rupnagar, on February 6, village Bhaowal, Chhoti Jhakhiyan (Haled), Badi Jhakhiyan, Bada village, Kharota and Village Bahidali, Dholan Majra, Dumana, Ward no. 1, 2, and 3, these camps will be set up at Village Ward No. 9 (Salomjara), Mundian, Dehar and Gaggon of Sri Chamkaur Sahib.
Dr. Preeti Yadav further informed that 43 different types of government services will be provided during these camps, including birth certificates, income certificates, scholarships to children of beneficiaries, residence certificates, certificates for scheduled and backward classes, old age, disabled and dependents. Pension, Beneficiary regarding construction workers, Change of name in birth certificate, Payment of electricity bills, Verification of revenue department records, Marriage registration, Multiple copies of death certificate, Attested copies of documents, Rural area certificate , Creation of Fard, Common Caste Certificate, Shagan Scheme, Demarcation of Land, Nr. I. Services include counter signature of certificates, counter signature of police clearance certificate, change in death certificate etc.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (c) Pooja Sial Grewal, Additional Deputy Commissioner (c) S. Amarpid Singh Gujral Assistant Commissioner (General) Arvindarpal Singh Somal, besides other senior officers of various departments were present.
