De Warming Day on February 5, Mop Up Day on February 12 will be celebrated
Ferozepur, February 3 (Punjab khabarnama): In charge Civil Surgeon Ferozepur Dr. National De Warming Day is being celebrated on 5th February under the guidelines of Meenakshi. Dr. Civil Surgeon in charge in this regard. Meenakshi said that February 5 will be de-warming day and February 12 will be mop-up day. He said that it is very important for children to be physically and mentally healthy. With worms in the stomach, children become malnourished because they do not feel like eating or drinking. He said that the child is always tired and his overall development is stopped. He said that the purpose of celebrating the said day is to free children from stomach worms.
On this occasion, Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr. Sushma said that albendazole pills will be given in all Anganwadi centers, government and government-aided schools and private schools in the district on the day of de-warming day.
