Chandigarh, February 3 (Punjab khabarnama): On the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Punjab Police has arrested Mandeep, a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi, as part of the campaign to destroy organized criminal networks in the state. Singh alias Chhota Mani, a resident of Chandigarh, who provided hideouts to the accused involved in Sidhu Moosewala’s murder and helped gangster Deepak Tinu escape in 2017, has been arrested. This information was given by Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav here today.
Giving more information in this regard, he said that
The accused Chhota Mani has been arrested along with his accomplice, who has been identified as Jatinder Singh resident of Mohalla Gobindpura, Manimajra. The police teams have recovered two .32 caliber pistols as well as 12 live cartridges from them.
DGP Gaurav Yadav said that after the reliable information received from reliable sources about the presence of Chhota Money in Zirakpur area, ADGP. AGTF led by Pramod Ban and AIG Supervised by Sandeep Goyal and DSP. Police teams under the command of Bikram Brar succeeded in locating the accused and arrested him along with his accomplice.
