Under the directions of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Dilbagh Singh Johal, CJM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Aparajita Joshi made a surprise visit to the front office at Sub Division Garhshankar. On this occasion, while he reviewed the working of Garhshankar’s front office, he also discussed about placing more pre-litigative cases in the Kom Lok Adalat to be set up on March 9, 2024. Apart from this, he also reviewed the functioning of the retainer advocate and PLV of the front office and checked the register of free legal aid provided to the people in the front office. Along with this, he held a meeting with the lawyers of the panel and also checked the possession cards of their performance. The feedback proformas of the cases in which free legal aid is provided were also checked. Apart from the free legal services, they told about the National Lok Adalat to be held on March 9 at the district and sub-division level courts.
