Regarding the traffic rules from the Punjab government To make common people aware National Road Safety Month is being observed to curb road accidents. Under the guidelines of Deputy Commissioner Mr. Rajesh Dhiman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Mr. Arun Sharma held a meeting with officials of various departments regarding the celebration of National Road Safety Month.

During the meeting, he met Police Department , National Highway, Public Works Department, Punjab Mandi Board, Education Department, RTA. Gave instructions to the officials/employees of the department, health department etc. about the activities to be done by their department. He said that by setting up camps in schools, colleges and other public places, the district residents should be informed about road safety rules. He said that information should be given about the benefits of using seat belts and helmets and the disadvantages of not using them .

          He said that every person should wear seat belt while driving and two wheeler drivers should wear helmet . He said that by applying a sudden brake seat belt Having a logi can avoid an unpleasant incident. He said that similarly those who use helmets can also avoid damages during road accidents. He instructed the officials of different departments to make the district residents more aware about it so that road accidents can be avoided.
