Incomparable work has been done by the District Planning Committee in the last one year and this year has been much better than the previous years. Development work will continue with the same pace in future also. This information was given by District Planning Committee Chairperson and AAP District President Karamjeet Kaur on the completion of her one year tenure. Karamjit Kaur said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is working for the development of every section and area and to get the development works done at the grassroots level in the villages, the works are being done by the village Panchayat. A list was called for, according to which work is being done. He said that Rs 63 lakh was released by the Punjab Government to the District Planning Committee for various development works, out of which Rs 60 lakh has been released for different works in different villages of the district and most of these The work has also been completed. In which arrangements for clean drinking water etc. have been made in many government schools. Karamjit Kaur said that in the coming times too, grants are being issued by the government for development works, which will definitely be implemented at the grassroots level, so that its benefits can reach the needy.
