Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa hoisted the national flag at DC residence today on the occasion of 75th Republic Day. On this occasion, he also took salute from the police squad led by ASI Kamalraj.
National Anthem was sung by the students of Shivalik Public School Nawanshahr on this occasion. After hoisting the flag, the Deputy Commissioner distributed sweets to the children and celebrated the Republic Day with them.
He informed the students about the democratic structure of the country, explaining the importance of implementation of the Constitution of the country on the day of the Republic Day.
