Punjab Tourism Minister Anmol Gagan Mann participated in the International Futur Tourism Conference which started today in Madrid, Spain.
A delegation of Punjab state has participated in this tourism conference under the leadership of State Tourism Minister Anmol Gagan Mann.
On the first day of the conference, the Indian pavilion was inaugurated by Anmol Gagan Mann. On this occasion, readers of Safir Dinesh from Spain, India were also present. Apart from this, Principal Secretary of Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department of Punjab, Mrs. Rakhi Gupta Bhandari and Additional Directors of the department Rakesh Kumar Popli and Himanshu Jain, ACEU. Invest Punjab was also present.
During the conference, Anmol Gagan Mann met people associated with tourism industry from different countries and informed them about the possibilities of tourism sector of Punjab.
He told that Punjab has beautiful rivers, forests, mountains and vegetation with different climates. Apart from this, the most important places of Sikh religion and history are also in Punjab. People associated with the tourism industry told that during the winter season, birds from all over the world come to Punjab the most.
Anmol Gagan Mann also held discussions with participants from countries earning huge income through tourism industry to promote tourism in Punjab.
It is also worth mentioning here that after a long time, a delegation from the Punjab Government has participated in such an international level tourism conference.
