Jalandhar, January 15, 2025 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): An encounter took place in Jalandhar between gangsters of the Lawrence gang and the CIA staff. In this incident, two gangsters were injured. Both are associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The criminals were wanted in an old case by the Jalandhar police. The encounter occurred near Wadala Chowk in the city. At present, police teams are heading to the crime scene.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the criminals were planning to carry out a major crime in Jalandhar. The criminals had directly opened fire on the police party. After this, when the CIA staff’s city team retaliated, the suspects were shot in their legs and arrested.
Weapons were recovered from the gangsters during the encounter. The confrontation took place in Diol Nagar, near Wadala Chowk, where the suspects were hiding. When the police teams reached near Vishwakarma Mandir, they came under gunfire. The encounter was led by CIA staff in-charge Surinder Singh Kamboj’s team. Currently, the weapons are being recovered from the arrested criminals.
