April 18 (Punjab Khabarnama) : The weather remained clear in many districts of Punjab on Wednesday due to which the temperature increased. According to Weather Center Chandigarh, the maximum temperature was recorded in Ludhiana at 37 degrees Celsius, which was the highest in Punjab. While Patiala, Bathinda, Pathankot and Chandigarh recorded 35 degrees, Mohali and Ropar recorded 34 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 14 degrees Celsius in Moga and Jalandhar. According to the Meteorological Department, dusty winds are likely to occur in some districts of the state on Thursday. While on April 19 and 20, most of the districts of Punjab may experience light to moderate rain at many places with winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour.
