After this, Manish Tiwari held a press conference today. During this, he thanked all the colleagues of India Alliance and said that he has got this victory due to everyone’s hard work. The people of Chandigarh have once again handed over this seat to secular people.
During this, while attacking the BJP, Tiwari said that if you look at the results across the country, it becomes absolutely clear that this is a no-confidence motion against the BJP and its leadership. He said that there is a huge difference between the slogan of 400 plus that the BJP had campaigned on and the actual results that have come.
On this occasion, he thanked the public and said that he will remain indebted to the people for the opportunity they have given him to serve his birthplace and karmabhoomi Chandigarh with their blessings. He said about the BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon who was standing against him that he has no bitterness towards him. He also appealed to Sanjay Tandon to make a new beginning and work together for the progress of Chandigarh.
