October 7, 2024: A tragic incident has occurred in the village of Gumaanpura, near Amritsar, where three close friends lost their lives in a road accident. All three young men were from the same village. The news of their deaths has cast a shadow of mourning over the entire community, leaving family members devastated.
The young men had set out on a single motorcycle around 8 p.m. to visit the Goindwal Sahib Gurudwara. The deceased are identified as Gurpreet Singh, 22, Vijay Singh, 21, and Saurav, 16. It is noteworthy that Vijay Singh had lost his older brother seven years ago in a similar tragic incident.
