Mann Government’s Gift to Punjab: Aam Aadmi Clinics Eliminate Health Issues

Punjab’s Residents Now Receive Better Healthcare Through Aam Aadmi Clinics

The Punjab Government, under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has transformed the state’s healthcare system with the launch of Aam Aadmi Clinics, addressing long-standing healthcare challenges that previous governments failed to resolve. Modelled after the successful clinics in Delhi, these facilities are bringing much-needed medical services directly to the people, particularly in underserved urban and rural areas.

Since the Aam Aadmi Party took office in 2022, 842 clinics have been established across the state, providing free healthcare to millions of residents. These clinics eliminate the need for people to travel long distances to access medical care, as they are conveniently located near communities, offering a wide range of services.

The clinics provide 80 types of free medicines and offer 38 different types of tests, including essential checks for hypertension, diabetes, skin diseases, and viral fevers. This comprehensive approach has made a significant impact, with the Punjab Government reporting that over 2 crore people have already benefited from the programme.

In addition to offering treatment, the clinics play a crucial role in preventive healthcare, ensuring early detection and timely intervention for various health conditions. The initiative represents a major shift in the accessibility and affordability of healthcare in Punjab.

With the success of the existing clinics, the government is now considering further expansion to meet growing demand and ensure that more residents across the state can benefit from quality healthcare services.

The Aam Aadmi Clinics stand as a testament to the Mann Government’s commitment to improving public health, promising a healthier and more equitable future for Punjab.
