Mohali, December 13, 2024 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau) – Sad news has come from Mohali. According to the information, 7-year-old innocent Aaradhya was hit by a speeding auto while crossing the road in the residential area of Sector-69. She was taken to the hospital in a seriously injured condition, but she died during treatment. Phase-8 police station has registered a case against auto driver Lovepreet Singh on the statement of Aaradhya’s grandfather Baldev Singh, who originally hails from Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh. The auto driver is a resident of Muktsar.
In the complaint given to the police, Baldev Singh told that he is retired from PWD Himachal. His son is posted as Commandant in Indian Coast Guard Visakhapatnam. His daughter-in-law lives on rent in Sector-69 with 2 children. On Wednesday evening, he went to the park in front of the house with his 9-year-old grandson and 7-year-old granddaughter Aaradhya. During this time, Aaradhya suddenly started walking towards the house. His grandson and he himself were behind Aaradhya. As soon as Aaradhya started crossing the road outside the park, a speeding auto hit her. Aaradhya suffered head injuries in the accident. She was taken to a nearby private hospital for treatment, where the innocent child died during treatment.
Based on his complaint, the police have registered a case against the auto driver Lovepreet Singh. Baldev Singh, who saw this accident happening in front of him, is extremely saddened after the death of his granddaughter.
