According to the information, the drug smugglers opened fire as soon as they saw the police. In retaliation, the police also opened fire, due to which one smuggler was injured, while the other also suffered minor injuries.
At present, both the smugglers have been arrested and admitted to the hospital in Amritsar. It is being told that the said drug smugglers had come to deliver ammunition. They had to give this weapon to someone, when they reached the park to make the delivery, the police was already present there because the police had already received information about it
During this time the smugglers opened fire and the bullets hit the police vehicles. When the police retaliated, one smuggler got shot, while the other smuggler got injured while fleeing. Police say that the above two persons are drug smugglers, sharp shooters and also smuggle weapons.
