3 october 2024 : Denzel Washington might as well be called a “Gladiator” for reportedly confronting Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs at an infamous all-night gathering from years ago.
Diddy’s ongoing federal investigation could potentially implicate “many powerful people” connected to the disgraced music mogul and his notorious ‘White Parties,’ as warned by attorney Tony Buzbee during a press conference on Tuesday. Following Combs’ formal charges after his September 16 arrest in Manhattan, scrutiny of his past has intensified. Known as the “gatekeeper” of the music industry, Diddy has been linked to numerous A-list celebrities, including the Kardashians, Justin Bieber, Usher, Ashton Kutcher, Jay-Z, and many others.
Many Hollywood stars seem to be distancing themselves from Diddy to avoid backlash over their past associations with him. The resurfacing of old videos featuring Combs has brought additional names into the conversation, including Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Kevin Hart, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Denzel Washington Reportedly Confronted Diddy
Among those mentioned is acclaimed actor Denzel Washington, who, along with his wife Pauletta, was reportedly invited to one of Diddy’s questionable gatherings. The story, recounted by a source familiar with Diddy’s circle, suggests that during an all-night party in 2003, tensions rose between Washington and the controversial mogul. “Denzel screamed, ‘You don’t respect anyone,’” the insider revealed to Us Weekly.
The source went on to share that Washington and his wife had been partying with Diddy until dawn but decided to leave in a huff after witnessing something troubling.
Currently, Combs is facing a 14-page indictment and remains in custody without bail.
What Happened at Diddy’s Parties?
While the specific incident that prompted Washington to walk out remains unclear, federal documents allege that Diddy hosted ‘Freak Offs’ where guests participated in “elaborate” sexual performances, often subjected to “physical, emotional, and verbal abuse” by the rapper.
Diddy’s ‘White Parties’ are well-documented, featuring A-list guests arriving as if attending a red carpet event, but the ‘Freak Offs’ reportedly occurred later, taking a more chaotic turn. One insider recalled, “What happened before 2 a.m. pales in comparison to what happened at 5 a.m.” Guests were said to slip out early, seeking signals that the after-party would be wilder than usual.
Ashton Kutcher, a friend of Combs, also remained tight-lipped about the events at those parties during a 2019 interview on “Hot Ones,” saying, “I’ve got a lot I can’t tell… I’m actually cycling through them. Diddy party stories, man, that was some weird memory lane thing.”
