On September 20, 2024, British Deputy High Commissioner Caroline Rowett, along with Rajinder Nagarkoti, political, press, and project advisor from the British High Commission, visited the Manoj Kumar Boxing Academy in Kurukshetra. Olympic and Commonwealth Games gold medalist boxer Manoj Kumar and boxing coach Rajesh Kumar Rajound warmly welcomed them.

During the visit, the delegates engaged in discussions with the academy’s young boxers and extended their best wishes for future boxing tournaments. This visit served as an inspiration for the emerging athletes. Coach Rajesh Kumar Rajound expressed pride in hosting the British delegation, stating, “Their presence serves as motivation, inspiring us to continue our efforts.”

Manoj Kumar, an Arjuna and Bhim award-winning boxer, thanked the Deputy High Commissioner, saying, “Their support and encouragement mean a lot to me and all our aspiring boxers. We are committed to preparing the next generation of champions together.”
