5 september 2024 : Six people were killed in a road accident in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, when a car collided with two motorcycles, police reported on Thursday.
The incident happened on Wednesday night on the Suratgarh-Anupgarh state highway as the victims were returning from a religious event.
Bijai Nagar police station in-charge Govind Ram confirmed that three people died at the scene, and the other three succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital. The car driver fled the scene.
The deceased were identified as Tarachand (20), Manish (24), Sunil Kumar (20), Rahul (20), Shubhkaran (19), and Balram (20).
