4 september 2024 : At least 10 individuals sustained injuries when a temporary tent collapsed during a religious gathering in Hishua, Bihar’s Saran district, early Wednesday morning. The collapse happened around 3 a.m. while a religious procession was moving through the area.
According to a senior police officer, the injured were promptly transported to a nearby government hospital. Superintendent of Police Kumar Ashish reported that the incident occurred after some people attempted to climb the tent, leading to its collapse and causing minor injuries to about 10 individuals. Fortunately, all of them are expected to recover. The incident is currently under investigation.
