June 12 (Punjab Khabarnama) : On Sunday, five youths died by drowning in the Satluj river in Kasabad village under Salem Tabri police station. After this, the police deployed NDRF and diving teams to search for the missing youths in the Satluj river. Out of these, the bodies of two youths were recovered on Monday and the body of another youth was recovered on Tuesday.
Today, Wednesday morning at around 9 o’clock, the bodies of two missing youths Zahir and Mohammad Shami were also recovered from the Satluj river. At present, the police have sent the bodies of both the deceased youths to the civil hospital for post-mortem and further investigation has been started.
