May 27 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on Punjab tour today. He addressed a rally in support of BJP candidate Ravneet Singh Bittu at Anaj Mandi in Ludhiana. 2 thousand policemen were deployed in the city regarding the rally. During this, Amit Shah said, “First of all, I want to come to this brave land of Punjab and pay my respects with folded hands to the tradition of the great Sikh Gurus.” Here I remember Maharaj Ranjit Singh, Lala Lajpat Rai and all of them. I have come to start the discussion about those who sacrificed their lives for the security of the country.
He said, “My Gurudev used to tell me two things about Punjab while teaching me. If there is not one Punjab, the country will not be safe. Secondly, he used to say that if there is no Punjab, the country cannot be fed. Only Punjab can do both these things. He said that if we have survived, we have survived by sacrificing the ninth Guru. He said that this time after 5 phases Modi is trying to form the government by taking more than 310 seats. BJP government is going to be formed on 4th with more than 400 seats. Today I urge the people of Punjab, BJP government is being formed. If you send some lotus flowers from Punjab, Modi ji will make Punjab happy. Bittu is my friend for 5 years. Even when he was in Congress, I had publicly said that Ravneet was my friend. We cannot forgive those who killed his grandfather.
Amit Shah said, “I have come to appeal that send Parliament from Ludhiana. I will work to make it bigger. Kejriwal is going to jail on 1st June and Rahul Baba is going to Bangkok for holidays on 6th June. In this contest, there is Rahul Gandhi on one side and Narendra Modi on the other side.
