May 3 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Sanjay Tandon said that Chandigarh has the potential to become a vibrant IT and financial hub like Bengaluru and Pune and it also has the necessary infrastructure to a large extent. Tandon said that there is a need to create better basic infrastructure for IT and corporate companies in Chandigarh, provide all facilities to the industry and attract big companies from the country and the world. Tandon was talking directly to IT professionals in Chandigarh on Thursday. He said that he is more interested in creating better opportunities for the youth in the corporate sector. Their vision is to make Chandigarh a great destination not only for IT companies and startups but also for large companies in the financial sector. To achieve these objectives, he will make every possible effort to make Chandigarh an IT and financial hub.
Emphasizing the importance of understanding the demands and expectations of the city and its youth over time, Tandon said there is a need to create better employment opportunities in Chandigarh so that local talent can migrate to other states or other countries to get jobs or start their own businesses.
