Varun Mehta said that in the last 4 years, only one list was issued by the Congress High Command in the organization during the time of former State Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu, in which 38 other spokespersons including Mehta were appointed, which included many MPs, former MLAs and other party leaders. Expressing his anger, Mehta said that contesting elections is the right of every leader and worker, but it is very disappointing that the top leadership of the party is adopting a dictatorial attitude by ignoring the leaders and workers of the city.
