Salute to the Constitution maker under the leadership of the Deputy Commissioner
April 14 (Punjab Khabarnama) : On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar ji, a district level function was held today at the District Administrative Complex. Where under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal IAS, Jug Paltau Sakshiyat Babasaheb was saluted.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal, remembering Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar for his unique and valuable contribution in the constitution of the world’s largest democracy, said that the constitution written by him is our guide. He said that the values recorded in the constitution written by Babasaheb should be respected. He said that Babasaheb abolished all discrimination and framed the constitution giving equal opportunities to all and we should take inspiration from him and work for the country and contribute to the expansion of education in the society.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal said that in the constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar ji has given us the right to vote and Lok Sabha elections are going to be held in the near future, so every citizen must exercise his right to vote.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Rakesh Kumar Popli said that all of us have been given rights by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar ji through the constitution of the country and today on the occasion of his birthday we should respect our rights as well as our country and society. Duties should also be remembered.
On this occasion, Social Justice and Empowerment Officer Mr. Asok Kumar gave information about the life of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkarji. On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner General Manjit Singh, District Public Relations Officer Bhupinder Singh Brar, Superintendent Pradeep Gakhar and officers and employees of various departments were present.
