During the Patiala Heritage and Military Literature Festival, which began today at Patiala, the patriotic tunes played by the band of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force spread the color of patriotism in the Fiza of Patiala and the passionate tunes created new enthusiasm in every age group. .
The military equipment standing aside in the grounds of Khalsa College and the patriotic tunes playing in front attracted every audience. ITBP Led by the band’s band master Tufan Singh, the 25-member team performed ‘Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo’, ‘Dil Ki Hai Jaan Bi Dege A Watan Tere Liye’, ‘Sandeshe Aate Hai’, Tum Dil Di Dhadkan Ho’ and ‘Sare’. Mantra charmed the audience through patriotic tunes like Jahan Se Achcha.
Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ahmed Pari ITBP. Praising the performance of the band, he said that although every performance involved in the Military Literature Festival is important, the band has created a passion to do something for their country among the audience who attended the festival. He said that such presentations also inculcate the spirit of patriotism among children and youth.
On this occasion, the chairman of the Military Literature Festival Association, Lieut. Gen. T.S. Shergill, Lt. Gen (Retd.) Chetinder Singh, Col. Perry Grewal, ADC. Anupreeta Johal, Nodal Officer of the fair SDM Charanjit Singh, Tehsildar Larsen Singla were also present.
